I started an online business in 2019 by sharing all that I know about marketing. (I had been working with local businesses on the side of teaching since 2012.)
If I'm being totally honest, there was one big reason I started this business.
Money.
(Ok, I wanted to make impact too... but my money goals lit a fire under me and kept me pushing to make this work.)
I wanted to make enough money to take a longer maternity leave with my last baby. (The 6-week paid leave with my first two was not nearly enough time, and I wasn't going to wait around for changes to be made at the systemic level.)
In one year, I doubled my teaching salary. I took a 2 year, unpaid maternity leave funded by my business.
I realized money is abundant, and we have skills and expertise to share. My mission is to help every educator get a slice of the pie!
